I actually read The Wise Man’s Fear first (2nd book) before The Name of the Wind (1st book) simply because I thought the 2nd book was the 1st book. But no worries, I recently read the 1st book and now the story’s all crystal clear to me.
AND AMAZING. One of the few fantasy novels that really got me sucked into the story. The way the author meticulously and “scientifically” explained magic in the story plus the culture of different races in the world are my favorite parts. AND HELLO, I love the Archives. READ THESE BOOKS ASAP!
